CloseBoard Fencing is constructed with concrete or timber posts which can be concreted into the ground with concrete or timber gravel boards. Arris rails are then fixed between the posts making a framework. Onto this frame the feather edge boards are fixed and these can be capped if required.

The concrete posts can be mortice or slotted types. The slotted posts will take a 6 foot panel of CloseBoard fencing and this has the advantage that a panel can be changed or removed without the rest of the fence being disturbed. Heights can be from 3ft to about 6ft 6ins (1 to 2metres).

All timber is pressure treated.

Drews Fencing Services perform the complete installation - the site can be prepared, (shrubs removed if required) the fence supplied and fitted, the old fencing and rubbish cleared away and the site left tidy.

The pictures below show a CloseBoard fence - the concrete poles and arris rails can be seen in the top pictures and the lower ones show the completed fence with wooden gravel boards and capping in place.
